June 14, 2006 As of June 14, 2006, the shares of the Company NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE are traded on the ATHEX ex-rights in terms of 4 new (CR) shares for every 10 old (CR) shares held at an issue price of 22,11 Euro. The rights trading period is set from June 20, 2006, to June 29, 2006. The subscription rights period is set from June 20, 2006 to July 5, 2006. It is clarified, according to the article 76 of the ATHEX Regulation Operation and the decision No 30 of the ATHEX BoD, that the trading limits of the share price only for the trading session on June 14, 2006, is set as follows: +10% at the closing share price on the ATHEX last trading session (13/6/2006): 29,00 EURO and -10% at the adjusted start share price: 27,04 EURO.
